We are very happy to announce that we are now authorised installers under the Office of Zero Emissions and have secured a contract with Project EV to offer our services for any Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC) work that you require. As we have mentioned before, at Niche, our aim is to “go green” and do all we can to help everyone move over to renewable energy sources and contribute to a more sustainable future. We believe that our EVC work is a big step in that direction.
With the Ultra-Low Emission Zone changing and recently extending to the North and South Circular Zones, it is becoming more and more appealing to go electric when it comes to transport. The Office for Zero Emissions Vehicles are currently offering EVC Grants for both domestic and workplace properties. We are happy to apply for these grants on your behalf and in doing so, you could save up to £350 towards your EVC charging points. The services we provide range from supplying the units, supplying and installing them, maintenance contracts, a 12-month installation guarantee and 5 years warranty on any unit that we install.
There are many different units which can be found on Project EV’s Online Catalogue depending on your EVC requirements. Outlined below shows you our starting prices for domestic installation. Please note all job prices are subject to change depending on the need and costs of materials.

In addition to providing and installing the units, we will be offering extras and accessories such as the option of a unit to car lead, a unit controlled by an official membership card or units that are fully controlled by an application on your smartphone.
The drive for sustainability has resulted in the government offering off peak rates for households who charge their cars overnight. This can all be controlled by timers on your smartphone set to automatically initiate the charge.
All prices will be provided once a full survey has been completed and an official quotation has been drawn up.
For commercial EV services we will be offering three phase (400 volt) installations, which will range from 22kw units up to 150kw direct current units.

- Charge points were increasing by 250+ every 30 days
- For a small electric car your average annual savings could be £913.72
- A medium electric car, for example a Tesla Model S, your annual average savings could be £1289.07
- A large electric car, for example an SUV Tesla Model X, your annual average savings could be £1964.69
As the above reflects the statistics of 2019, these numbers have now increased, and you will now see more and more charge points available around the UK. It is also a government requirement to have charging points available for New Build Development Projects.
